Welcome to Grace Journal. By using our mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Service Description

Grace Journal provides:

• Bible reading with multiple translations, highlights, and bookmarks
• Daily Bible verses and devotional insights
• Audio recording and on-device transcription of sermons and devotionals
• AI-powered summaries and key points generated on your device
• Note-taking and reflection tools
• Bible verse memorization via flashcards
• Bible audio narration

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Grace Journal. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the app.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within Grace Journal, including notes, reflections, highlights, and audio recordings. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., syncing across devices, generating transcriptions).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload malicious content or code

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device settings.

7. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated content, including transcriptions, summaries, verse insights, and flashcards, is provided for informational and devotional purposes only. It should not replace professional biblical scholarship or pastoral guidance. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property

The Grace Journal app, including its design, branding, and code, is owned by Grace Journal. Bible texts included in the app are subject to their respective licensing terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Grace Journal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grace Journal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings, which will remove your data from our servers.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
